EPR Registration for waste management and Recycling

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is an important policy mechanism that helps promote the circular economy and reduce the environmental impact of products and their packaging. In addition, we promote the polluter pays principle by taking responsibility for the entire product life cycle. EPR is met by the manufacturer by reusing, buying back, or recycling discarded products. The manufacturer also has the option of delegating this responsibility to a third party that the manufacturer can pay for lifespan management. This shifts the responsibility for waste management from the government to the private sector, making it easier for manufacturers or distributors to internalize waste management and ensure the safe handling of their products.
